My Approach
Life can be incredibly hard and often painful. We all need support to navigate this complicated and demanding existence. In a world with this much conflict and competition, finding a sense of peace and hope can feel impossible. Healing begins when we allow ourselves to be seen and not judged. When we share our fears and struggles in safe, caring, and genuine relationships. This is what I am offering.
Working together, you can build a solid foundation within yourself and develop the confidence and clarity to pursue the future that you want. My goal is to help you discover what makes life feel meaningful and support you in becoming your most authentic self. Sometimes, the coping strategies that once served us no longer feel sustainable or healthy. I want to help you develop growth and care practices that support your well-being and deepen your relationships. No one can care for you better than you can, but it helps to have someone remind you that your emotions are valid and you are worthy of the life you desire. If you need accountability, tools, and guidance as you navigate change, I can be that person. You deserve joy, self-acceptance, and the ability to embrace all parts of yourself.
My priority is to cultivate a safe and supportive space where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. At times, I may challenge you to confront fears and difficult emotions so you can understand and manage them more effectively. It takes great courage to be deeply honest with ourselves, but this honesty is the foundation of meaningful growth. Together, we’ll make sense of life’s challenges, reconnect with your core values, and work towards growth that feels both authentic and sustainable.
I am open to working with any kind of person, and I bring extra experience working with LGBTQIA+ folks. I have specialized training in gender identity-related concerns, including hormone readiness assessments and guidance through gender-affirming steps.

Hello, I'm Jefferson, a queer White Canadian who was raised on the beautiful and stolen land of the Coast Salish peoples. My path into this fulfilling work stems from my own experiences with emotional, relationship, and addiction challenges. I understand what it's like to feel lost, anxious, depressed, and in need of support as I developed my queer pride and a caring community. This personal understanding fuels my passion for helping others discover meaning in their lives, explore their identity, and foster self-acceptance. You can expect me to be my authentic self and establish a genuine connection with you. I also have a love for gardening, meditation, and floating around in a kayak. I am a big space nerd and often wander around listening to audiobooks or podcasts.
